Parking is available at Leland High School. Pease plan your route to Leland to avoid the Camden Ave. road closure. Use the Via Valiente entrance to the Leland parking lot as all Camden Ave. entrances will be closed due to the road closure.
Packet Pick-up & Last Minute Registration
We will be hosting pre-race packet pickup on Thursday, November 16 from 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Bret Harte Middle School in the Staff Dining Room (7050 Bret Harte Dr. San Jose, CA 95120).
Late Registration will be available at both packet pickup and race morning, if the race is not sold out. Late Registration will be $40/participant.
When is packet pick up? What do I need to bring?Packet pick up will be on November 16th from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Bret Harte Middle School (7050 Bret Harte Drive). Please have your government-issued ID and race registration confirmation email handy.
What is the race day timeline?7:00 am - 7:30 am Late Registration 7:00 am - 7:45 am Packet Pick up 8:30 am 10K START 8:40 am 5K START
Are strollers and dogs allowed?Yes, strollers are allowed on the race course. Pets and service animals are allowed, as long as they are on a leash at all times.
Is this event good for my elementary-aged kids or elderly family members?YES! We have had many families with elementary aged children join us through the years. Most of them enjoy the 5K together. All under-age minors must always be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian >18 years old). We welcome participants of all ages! Please consult with your family physician before starting any exercise regime.
How long is the race?The 10K Race starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K starts at 8:40 a.m. All events are expected to be completed by 11:00 am.
Where does the race take place?The race course runs along Camden Avenue. Please see the race course maps below.
How hard or strenuous is the course?The course is mostly flat with minimal elevation gain. Please see the race course maps. Please consult with your family physician before starting any exercise regime.
Will there be water stations located throughout the race course?Yes. There will be water stations located at designated spots along the course. These are indicated in the course map.
Are there portable restrooms located throughout the race course?There will be no portable restrooms along the race course. Please plan to use the restrooms at Leland High School.
Will there be food available for purchase at the event?There will be no food sold at the event.
Are there designated areas for spectators/family supporters to cheer on the race participants?All non-participants can support/cheer from anywhere alongside the course. Please see the race course maps below.
