STUDENT CLUBS

2023-2024 Student Interest Clubs

Any Bret Harte Middle School students interested in starting a club may submit a Club Application. The deadline to submit applications is next Friday, September 15th. Bret Harte Administration will host a short informational meeting this Friday, Sept. 8th, in the Staff Dining Room from 3:10-3:30 pm for any student who has questions. Please note, the informational meeting is for students only.

School club guidelines include:

  • Organized at school

  • Advised by a teacher

  • Have only current students as members

  • Follow all school rules and regulations

 

You will need the following to proceed with a request to form a school club:

  1. Your name and student ID

  2. Name of the proposed club

  3. Purpose of the proposed club

  4. Name of the teacher that has already agreed to advise the club

  5. "@sjusd.org" email address of the teacher that has already agreed to advise the club

  6. Whether or not the proposed club will be working with an outside group

  7. Whether or not the proposed club will need an ASB financial account

  8. Names and student numbers of at least two student contacts
