2026-2027 Student Interest Clubs

Any Bret Harte Middle School students interested in starting a club may submit a Club Application. The deadline to submit an application has not been announced by the school yet.​​

The Student Club application process is managed by the school administration.

 

Visit our 2025-2026 Clubs page for a list of last year's student clubs for an idea of what kinds of clubs students have formed in the past. Information is provided by school administration and are subject to change.

 

Student Club advisor stipends are funded by Bret Harte Athletics and Booster Club. Please consider a donation to help us continue to fund these kinds of programs.​​

School club guidelines include*:

  • Organized at school

  • Advised by a teacher

  • Have only current students as members

  • Follow all school rules and regulations

 

You will need the following to proceed with a request to form a school club:

  1. Your name and student ID

  2. Name of the proposed club

  3. Purpose of the proposed club

  4. Name of the teacher that has already agreed to advise the club

  5. "@sjusd.org" email address of the teacher that has already agreed to advise the club

  6. Whether or not the proposed club will be working with an outside group

  7. Whether or not the proposed club will need an ASB financial account

  8. Names and student numbers of at least two student contacts​​

Once student clubs are approved by the school administration, they will announce a Club Day, where students can find out more about the clubs and how to join.
